The CareQuip Bathroom Mat is a rubber mat that provides a non-slip area inside a bath or over a shower floor, where wet enamel and tiles offer little grip. Moulded suction cups on the underside hold the mat against the floor, so it stays put as someone steps onto or off it rather than shifting underfoot. The mat is made from a quality rubber compound and is supplied in beige. Two versions are listed: a shower mat measuring 54 cm by 54 cm, sized for a square shower base, and a bath mat measuring 40 cm by 70 cm, shaped to lie along the floor of a bathtub. Both are loose laid, so the mat can be lifted out when it is not needed.

A non-slip mat is one of the simplest changes that can be made to a bathroom, and it addresses the point where footing is least secure. The moulded suction cups mean the mat stays where it is placed rather than sliding about, and having both a shower and a bath size available means the right shape can be chosen for the space.
