Finished in black vinyl, the Configura Comfort from Accora is a dual motor riser recliner built for situations where a standard armchair cannot be adjusted enough to keep someone comfortable and well positioned. The two motors separate the movements, so the backrest reclines on its own while the seat tilts in space by up to 26 degrees with the legrest rising, which makes it possible to move between an upright working position, a resting position and a position that shifts pressure away from the seat. Backrest recline is a reduced shear action, designed to keep the pelvis stable rather than letting the body drag against the backrest. The rise function tips the front of the seat upwards to help with standing, in standard, medium or flat settings, and the chair is specified to the individual by seat width, depth and height, up to a 160 kg capacity.

The separation of backrest recline from tilt in space is what makes this chair useful over a long day, since posture, rest and pressure relief each need a different setting.
