The self propelled version of the Homecraft Atlantic Wave Deluxe Shower Commode is a wheeled chair that serves as a shower chair, a commode and an elevated toilet seat, so that showering and toileting can be managed from one seated position. The frame is silver painted aluminium, which keeps the weight to 20.7 kg and resists rust in a wet environment. Large 60 cm rear wheels allow the user to propel the chair, with brakes on the front castors, while 13 cm front castors steer. The seat sits 54 cm from the floor, measures 45.7 cm (18 inch) wide and 42.5 cm deep, and has a cut away front for personal hygiene. A seat insert is supplied for comfort while being moved, and maximum user weight is 125 kg.

Being able to move yourself between the bathroom, the shower recess and the toilet in a single chair removes several transfers from the day, and the large rear wheels make that possible without relying on an attendant. Armrests that flip back open up the side of the chair for transfers, and the detachable back and swing away footrests reduce the chair to a more storable size.
