This Juvo mobile shower commode is the attendant-propelled model fitted with a sliding footplate, intended to carry a person to the shower and over the toilet in one movement. The footplate is weight bearing, non-slip and laser etched, so the feet stay supported while the person is seated, and it slides back under the frame to leave the front of the chair clear for standing and for side transfers. Four total-locking stainless steel castors let the chair be turned in a confined bathroom and then locked in place. Independent swing-away armrests at 20 cm or 24 cm above the seat, locking safety arms and deeper access from the front assist transfers and personal care. Seat widths are 46 cm, 51 cm and 56 cm on a reinforced grade 304 stainless steel frame, with safe working loads of 200 kg and 300 kg.

The sliding footplate is the point of difference. It carries weight while the person is seated and then moves out of the way, so nobody is working around a legrest during a transfer. With deeper front access, open cleaning points and a seat that lifts out, the chair also suits settings where equipment is shared and has to be cleaned between users.
