The RoMedic ReTurn Belt is a carer operated transfer belt made to support sit to stand transfers and gait training. The belt fastens around the hips and supports under the buttocks, which is the arrangement that suits a transfer where more stability is required. It is secured with an adjustable nylon buckle that holds its position rather than riding upward during the movement, and the internal surface is finished so that it grips rather than slides against clothing. All models carry four strong handles for the carer to hold, and the belt opens, closes and adjusts quickly between uses. The belt may be used on its own or as a complement to the RoMedic ReTurn standing and raising platform, and it is offered across a range of sizes whose stated measurement ranges run from 65 to 80 cm at the smallest to 175 to 195 cm at the largest.

The four handles give a carer a firm point of contact on either side of the person, which makes a sit to stand transfer easier to control than taking hold of clothing or a limb.
