These Days ski glides are optional fittings for the Days Ball Walker folding walking frame, which is supplied as standard with anti-slip rubber tips on its front and back legs. Each glide clicks into place on a frame leg and presents a smooth runner to the floor, so the frame can be slid along a smooth surface rather than lifted and set down with every step. The glides measure 3.5 cm long with a diameter of 2.2 cm and are supplied as a pair. Fitting takes moments and needs no tools, which makes it straightforward to change the way an existing frame moves, or to remove the glides again later, without replacing the frame itself. They are intended for the smooth indoor surfaces found in most homes and care settings.

Sliding a frame along the floor calls for less effort than lifting and placing it, so glides can make a familiar walking frame easier to use as circumstances change. They are inexpensive, clip on without tools and come as a pair, which makes them a simple adjustment to try rather than a commitment to different equipment.
